LoRaWAN is designed to transmit relatively small
amounts of data wirelessly over long distances with low
energy consumption.
This allows many sensors to operate autonomously on battery for several years,
depending on the device, configuration,
sending frequency, and conditions. LoRaWAN is applied in smart
buildings, industry, and smart city applications.
Communication can take place via an existing
LoRaWAN network or via one or more of your own gateways.
