C4 IoT controllers

The RESI C4 series is based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and forms a powerful platform for Industrial IoT, automation and Edge Computing.

Depending on the configuration, the controllers can be equipped with, among other things:

• digital and analogue I/O;

• relay outputs;

• a second Ethernet interface;

• integrated LTE connectivity;

• PWM outputs;

• temperature inputs;

• interfaces for shading and other specific applications.

This allows one controller to collect data, process it locally, and control processes. Versions with a second Ethernet port, Wi-Fi or LTE modem can also be used as a router or cloud gateway.

T4 IoT controllers

The T4 series is based on Raspberry Pi 4 and offers a flexible platform for IoT and automation projects.

Various industrial communication interfaces can be directly integrated, including RS485, RS232, KNX, CAN 2.0 and CAN-FD.

This makes T4 particularly suitable as:

• IoT or Edge Gateway;

• protocol converter;

• data logger;

• local controller;

• connection between existing installations and a cloud platform.

 

Industrial I/O & Edge Control

RESI offers various C4 versions with integrated digital and analogue inputs and outputs.

This allows sensors, switches, relays and technical installations to be directly connected to the IoT controller. The controller can process data locally and then send it to a platform via Ethernet or mobile communication.

This makes the solutions interesting for remote monitoring, machine connectivity, energy management and automation.

Gateways & protocols

In addition to IoT controllers, RESI offers a comprehensive range of industrial gateways that can connect existing installations and protocols to modern IP and IoT networks.

The range includes solutions for: M-Bus, DALI, KNX, DMX, EnOcean, SMI, Ethernet ↔ serial, S0 and energy measurement.

This makes RESI particularly interesting for retrofit projects, where existing equipment is retained but the data needs to be made available for a new IoT or cloud platform.
