Smart metering ATEX – Gas meters
The MR2-EX makes it possible to read one or two meters with a
pulse output (potential-free contacts) remotely. Both the
cycle time and the number of readings per transmitted message are adjustable. For example,
in terms of energy saving, the meter reading can be taken every 10
minutes and these 6 meter readings are only sent once per hour.
The measurement values are regularly transmitted via long-range radio
using Sigfox or LoRaWAN technologies and the configuration
is done remotely or locally.
The system is compatible with both the desktop and the
mobile version of the IoT web platform. With just a few mouse clicks, you can
view the data, set the sensor remotely, and configure alerts
based on predefined thresholds.
The ATIM ACW products are also compatible with most
platforms on the market; see our partners.
A connection cable is available that meets the
standards of the most common gas meters: REF: CAB/MTRGAZ1
The installation and commissioning of the solution are
therefore very simple and take less than 10 minutes: Plug &
Play.
The ACW-MR2-EX is widely used in cities, industry, and
smart buildings and is suitable for a variety of applications, such as:
- Monitoring the meter reading of various gas, water,
or electricity meters in ATEX zones (Zone 2)
- Monitoring water, electricity, or gas consumption:
energy savings
